Pending Cases "Ripe For Hearing" Will Also Be Taken up During the Vacation Period: Kerala HC [Read Notification]

The Kerala High Court has released a broad schedule for sitting of vacation benches that will hear urgent cases and other cases that are the stage of disposal, via Video Conferencing. Last month, the High Court had announced that it will sit through the midsummer vacation, 2020 to hear urgent cases via video conferencing. In a notification by the Registrar General on Monday, it has been intimated that all pending cases "ripe for hearing" will also be taken up during the vacation period. Accordingly, the Registrar General has informed that the Division Bench of Justice K. Vinod Chandran and Justice VG Arun will hold sitting from May 6, 2020 till May 15, 2020 and will take up O.PS/W.PS :-CAT & KAT, W.AS-Labour, W.AS-Service & specifically ordered cases.
