MrBeast unveils 'Beast Games': Key details about the new competition show

After months of anticipation and controversy, MrBeast’s hyped sports show ‘Beast Video Games’ has premiered on Amazon Prime. The North Carolina native has already captured online attention spans with his highly produced, fast-paced YouTube videos, which often feature absurd stunts and massive cash sums. The structure of Beast Games is reminiscent of many of MrBeast’s recent YouTube videos, such as “Every Country On Earth Fights For $250,000” and “100 Kids vs 100 Adults For $500,000.” Contestants face gruelling challenges with low chances of winning, all while Donaldson loudly narrates the proceedings. However, the show heavily borrows from Squid Game, from contestants wearing numbered uniforms to the set design mimicking the series' iconic bunk beds and hooded staff costumes.
