Tour of Guangxi 2024 reaches Bama

On Oct 17, the third stage of the Tour of Guangxi 2024 concluded in Bama. The 214-kilometer route began in Jingxiu Ancient Town, Jingxi, and ended at the Shouxiang Cultural Square in Bama Yao autonomous county, known for its longevity. The stage featured two sprint points and three climbing points reaching nearly 2,000 meters above sea level. Excitement was palpable as thousands of people waved flags, shouting “Welcome to Bama!” “We’re excited to showcase our ethnic culture to the world,” said a local resident named Huang Chunyan. Dries De Bondt from the Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale Team won the Best Climber Award, and Soudal-Quick-Step’s Pepijn Reinderink received the Combativity Award.
