Disastrous season has Colts mulling more changes after bye
Associated PressINDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts thought they’d be contemplating their playoff possibilities during their bye week. “We’re going to look at everything — no position in particular, but everybody — and look and see what we think is going to be best,” Saturday said following last week’s 54-19 drubbing in Dallas. Matt Ryan, the 2016 league MVP who team owner Jim Irsay thought could finally stop Indy’s constantly spinning quarterback carrousel, leads the league with 18 giveaways. “But each guy is going to have to look back and reflect on what he’s done so far this year, how he wants the rest of the season to look and the rest of his career to look.” The truth is with four games left, Indy faces another daunting and perhaps tumultuous future. And as Saturday implores players to continue fighting, fans largely want Indy to play for a higher draft pick so it can finally select Andrew Luck’s long-term replacement.
