Canada’s Tajon Buchanan sustains broken leg in training

Canada winger Tajon Buchanan was taken to hospital after sustaining a broken leg in training on Monday. Canada Soccer confirmed Buchanan had sustained a lower leg injury in training on Tuesday and had been taken to a local hospital for treatment and further evaluation. A Canada Soccer statement added: “We will provide updates as more information becomes available.” It was later confirmed Buchanan had suffered a broken tibia, the larger of the two bones in the lower leg.
