India TodayAs countries around the world prepare to welcome back travellers after going under lockdown due to the novel coronavirus, tourism industries in various countries are giving out several incentives. They recently announced that they will be asking travellers to pay an amount of USD 3,000 deposit to cover any costs that might incur in relation to Covid-19 while they are on a holiday. The new regulations rolled out by the government also mandates the tourists to take a novel coronavirus test on arrival in the country. The new regulation also states that if one passenger tests positive on the flight, all the passengers will have to quarantine for 14 days at a cost of USD 1,280. In addition to the USD 3,000 deposit, the notice also asks travellers to show proof of insurance that is valued at minimum USD 50,000 to cover any additional costs.
