YouTube rolls out its messaging feature to users on web
Last August, YouTube rolled out a messaging feature on its mobile apps for Android and iOS. The feature essentially allows users to share videos and chat with friends in a private thread, all within YouTube's mobile app. Just like other social messaging apps, YouTube's messaging feature allows users to express their emotions using emojis. Users can access their messages by logging into YouTube using their Google accounts and clicking on the chat bubble icon which appears next to the notification bell icon in the top right corner of their profiles. The service also launched an ad-free version of the app called YouTube Music Premium for the users.
