Maradu municipality to seek HC intervention to remove encroachment along Kundannoor-Chilavannoor road

The Maradu municipality will approach the Kerala High Court seeking police protection to remove the temporary structure of A.K.G. Memorial Library on the encroached land along Kundannoor-Chilavannoor road. The civic body will also submit a report to District Collector N.S.K Umesh on the action taken to remove similar encroachments along the busy stretch. “We had brought the matter to his notice and will submit a report on the action taken till now and also on difficulties faced by officials while removing the library structure,” he added.
