The Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur in West Bengal submitted a three-page report to the Calcutta high court on Tuesday in connection with the alleged ragging incidents in the hostel. “The IIT Kharagpur authorities submitted a report to the Calcutta high court on Tuesday. Earlier this month, the single bench of Justice Rajasekhar Mantha ordered the director of IIT Kharagpur to file a report on the steps the institute had taken to stop “ragging” after complaints had poured from a team of wardens from a students’ hostel. “The director of IIT Kharagpur shall file a report before this court on the adjourned date in this regard.
