Thalliki Vandanam will be implemented from May, says Chandrababu Naidu
The HinduThe NDA government will implement the Thalliki Vandanam welfare scheme from May. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to each school-going child in the State as per the promise given in the 2024 election manifesto, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has said. Speaking in the Assembly on Tuesday, during a discussion on the “Motion of Thanks to Governor’s Address”, Mr. Naidu said the NDA government would abide by its promise and release the financial assistance for all the school-going children under the new scheme. Despite having financial and administrative issues due to the ‘bad governance of the YSRCP in the past five years’, the NDA government had initiated several welfare and development projects apart from attracting investments, said Mr. Naidu. As per the election promise, the government was implementing three free cylinders scheme, Mr. Naidu said.
