Bengaluru: 35-year-old man charred to death after car catches fire

A 35-year-old private firm employee was charred to death after his car accidentally caught fire near the Channasandra bridge on the NICE Road, Bengaluru, on Saturday night. According to a report published in The Indian Express, the deceased was identified as Darshan Kumar, a resident of Uttarahalli and an employee of a business processing outsourcing company in Thyagarajanagar. Investigations revealed that when he noticed an accidental fire near the AC vent, he pulled over and tried to get out of the car. A passerby noticed Kumar struggling to open the jammed door and when he rushed in to help him, the car exploded, engulfing Kumar in the fire, said the police, as reported by Indian Express.
