A man has been charged with murder over a series of alleged shootings on the New South Wales Mid North Coast on Thursday that sparked a 13-hour manhunt. Key points: Tyrone Russell, 32, has been charged with seven offences including murder Cory James Glass, 26, appeared in Kempsey Local Court but his case is adjourned to January 17 Police have identified a body found in the area as 30-year-old Sam Dieter Liszczak Tyrone Russell, 32, and Cory James Glass, 26, were arrested after a large-scale police operation responding to reports of a series of shots fired in the early hours at several locations including near Kempsey, Port Macquarie, and Taree. Just before 6am, police attended a property outside Port Macquarie on Fernbank Creed Road and found 30-year-old Sam Dieter Liszczak dead from an alleged gunshot wound. Mr Russell was taken to hospital under police guard before being charged with seven offences, including murder and six firearm related offences on Friday. Earlier on Friday, Mr Glass, who had been charged with three counts of discharge firearm intend cause grievous bodily harm, and three counts of fire firearm in or near public place, appeared at the same court.
