More strong winds as Netherlands cleans up debris left by storm Franklin

NL Times

After a storm-filled weekend, the Netherlands can expect another windy day. Meteorological institute KNMI issued a code yellow warning for the entire country, warning of gusts up to 90 kilometers per hour. During this wind-filled day, Rijkswaterstaat still has to deal with fallen trees and other debris left by storm Franklin on Sunday. In Beek en Donk, a tree fell onto five parked cars causing significant damage, according to NOS. The IJsselkering near Krimpen aan den IJssel closed around midnight due to the high water levels.
