Union Minister of Law and Justice Kiren Rijiju on Saturday said a few retired judges and activists are part of an anti-India gang and are trying to make the Indian judiciary play the role of an opposition party. There are a few judges who are activists and are part of an anti-India gang which is trying to turn the judiciary against the government like the opposition parties,” Rijiju said. JAIRAM RAMESH REACTS Reacting to the law minister's "part of the anti-India gang" remark, senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said Kiren Rijiju was "talking like an outlaw". He said the anti-India forces use statements like “Democracy is in anger” and “human rights are non-existent in India.” Taking a dig at Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, the law minister said that the senior Congress leader “uses the same language as anti-India forces.” “We will not allow this ‘tukde- tukde’ gang to destroy the country’s integrity and sovereignty,” he added.
