32 crore Aadhaar numbers connected to voter IDs, says Chief Election Commissioner

The Chief Election Commissioner OP Rawat revealed that 32 crore Aadhaar numbers have been connected to voter IDs in the country. He informed that EC would ensure that the same would be done to rest of the 54.5 crore voter IDs after Supreme court gave it verdict in an ongoing case. The 32 crore voter IDs were seeded in a matter of 3 months according to the CEC. For cleaner economy; 32 crore Aadhaar numbers have been linked to voter ID cards, confirms Chief Election Commissioner O P Rawat.
