Rudy Giuliani's Daughter Implores Voters To Dump Trump In Poignant Essay About Her Dad
Huff PostLOADING ERROR LOADING Caroline Rose Giuliani, in a heartrending essay, has reflected on the pain inflicted on her and her family since her father, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, went all in on Donald Trump and became the former president’s now-former personal lawyer. “As Rudy Giuliani’s daughter, I’m unfortunately well-suited to remind Americans of just how calamitous being associated with Trump can be,” Giuliani wrote in the article published Monday. Giuliani acknowledged her love for her father and said “the last thing I want to do is hurt him” but feared “this moment and this election are so much bigger than any of us.” “Trump being the president was the worst thing that ever happened to my dad, to my family, and to our nation’s modern history,” she said, later adding: “Take it from me, Trump destroys everything he touches. Don’t let it happen to yours, or to our country.” Giuliani penned a similar piece backing Joe Biden ahead of the 2020 election and supported Hillary Clinton over Trump in 2016.
