No water supply in some parts of Hyderabad on Saturday

Drinking water supply by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board will be affected in parts of Hyderabad from 6 a.m. till 6 p.m. on Saturday. The disruption in service is in view of the proposed construction of a flyover at BHEL junction and hence the replacement of the PSC pipeline with MS pipeline. The pipeline runs 200 metres on phase II 1500mm diameter PSC pumping main at BHEL flyover stretch. Officials said the laying of MS pipeline work has been completed and NHAI has requested for a shutdown to make junction works on the either ends.
