Tourists 'disappointed' over closure of Taj Mahal in Agra

Both international and domestic tourists, who have been visiting Agra to see Taj Mahal have been disappointed as the mausoleum, along with Agra Fort, remain closed till date. Wednesday being the second day of reopening of the “lesser” popular monuments of Agra, only 298 tourists visited Sikandra, Fatehpur Sikri, Itmad-ud-Daulah, Rambagh and Mariam's Tomb. A couple from Kolkata told India Today TV that they came to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal, but the mausoleum has been closed for tourists, and it is “very disappointing”. However, they could not visit the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort, and they will leave for the National Capital with heavy hearts.
