Delhi University updates BA, BCom rules: New subject combinations allowed
Delhi University has made significant alterations to the admission process for its Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce programs for the 2025-26 session. According to the new information bulletin, BA candidates are now eligible to choose two domain subjects and two languages, a change from the earlier system of one language and three domain subjects. NEW SUBJECT SELECTION CRITERIA FOR BA CANDIDATES For some of the undergraduate BA programs, such as History and Psychology, DU has brought in a more flexible subject combination. Rather than the old one language-three domain subjects combination, students will now be able to take two languages and two subjects. DU provides two subject combination models for commerce admissions: First combination One language from List A, Mathematics or Applied Mathematics, and any two from List B.
