Delhi Viral Video: IPS Officer 'Misbehaves' With Hospital Staff At Safdarjung Hospital

A case of alleged misbehaviour with a resident doctor has come to light in Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital. This incident happened on Sunday night when a patient was admitted to the Sports Injury Centre and her husband, who is an IPS officer by profession, allegedly misbehaved with the resident doctor while getting treatment. According to the Resident Doctors' Association of VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, the surgery postgraduate resident had to face verbal harassment and threats during duty. "IPS officer Bijendra Kumar Yadav, as the patient's attendant, should apologise for the misbehaviour he has shown with the resident doctor," the letter read. Safdarjung Resident Doctors' Association and the resident doctor with whom this incident happened are being backed by the Federation of All India Medical Association.
