Patna schools to end academic activities by 11:45 am from Apil 15 due to heat wave

In Patna city, the temperature hit 41.5 degrees Celsius in the ongoing heatwave and so, the Patna district administration has directed all school authorities to revise their timings due to the Met department's warning of intense heat during the next few days. Patna district magistrate Chandra Shekhar Singh issued the order on Friday, and it will come into force from April 15. The order will come into force from April 15,” said the order issued by Patna district magistrate Chandra Shekhar Singh on Friday. On Thursday, Patna recorded a maximum temperature of 41.5 degrees Celsius, while Gaya and Rohtas recorded 41.3 degrees Celsius and 41.2 degrees Celsius, respectively.
