Facebook Eases Tag-suggestion Feature
Due to raised privacy concerns, Facebook’s made it easier for users to opt out of the “tag-suggestion” facial recognition feature. Facebook’s been running an online ad alerting users to this move and linking them to their privacy settings, the Attorney General said in an email. Facebook lets you opt out The facial recognition tag suggestion facilitates Facebook recognizing people who are in added pictures with their names linked. The Attorney General said that a critical component of Facebook privacy is to let users have the choice of whether they want this feature enabled or not.
