ATAR Year 12 exams debate grows as more high school students follow alternative pathways to university

As thousands of high school students across Australia anxiously await ATAR results, many first-year university applicants are finding other ways into their course of choice. But WA Education Minister Tony Buti maintained graduating high school with an ATAR was the best preparation for university. "We're keen to see as many students as possible strive for their very best, noting that for many it will be an ATAR pathway," she said.
