Ahead of Syros unveil, Kia announces scrappage incentive on all models

Kia India is all set to unveil the new Syros on December 19. Ahead of the global premiere of its second sub-4 metre compact SUV, the carmaker has announced a scrappage incentive program for its entire portfolio. Inside the cabin, there are features like an engine start-stop button, wireless charger, Type-C USB ports, ambient lighting, touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster and multi-function steering wheel. We expect the Syros to have two engine options -- 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel -- and multiple transmission options -- 6-speed MT, 6-speed iMT, 6-speed AT, and 7-speed DCT. The new Kia Syros will rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Hyundai Venue and Skoda Kylaq.
