Xbox Exclusives Might Soon Go Multiplatform, With Games Like Indiana Jones Launching On PS5

News 18

Console wars always feature heated discussions about whether one gaming platform is necessarily better than the other, with fans defending their console of choice. Unlike PlayStation and Nintendo, Xbox could be looking at making its games multi-platform, meaning Xbox games could one day launch on rival platforms like the PS5 and the Nintendo Switch. And this may kick off with some recently released and announced games like Starfield, Hi-Fi Rush, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. “A new multi-platform approach for certain Xbox games is emerging inside Microsoft,” the publication said. For instance, Hi-Fi Rush may be announced to launch on Switch and the PS5 in the coming weeks, while Indiana Jones and the Great Circle may remain exclusive to Xbox and PC for a few months, but eventually launch on the PS5 system, which is the company’s biggest rival.
