Eying 2024 polls, Telangana CM KCR launches national party, names it Bharat Rashtra Samithi

Party President K Chandrasekhara Rao read out the resolution passed by the general meeting of the party converting TRS into Bharat Rashtra Samithi as a national party. CHRISTIAN LEADERS BACK KCR Meanwhile, Christian leaders pledged their support to the ruling TRS and wished chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao luck on his entry onto the national scene. BJP REACTS Calling the move a misadventure, BJP Telangana chief spokesperson K Krishna Sagar Rao said, “Planning national political entry, while struggling to keep his government operational financially is an unworthy exercise.” “I am wondering how, by just changing the name from TRS to BRS, a party can become a national party.
