The Hurun Report list named Infosys co-founder Kris Gopalakrishnan as the most generous person from Kerala, but it is IT tycoon Azim Hashim Premji who takes the prize as the most generous Indian, with a donation of Rs 8,000 crore in the past year. In second was RP Group’s Ravi Pillai with Rs 9,600 crore followed by Sunny Varkey, founder and executive chairman of Dubai-centered Gems Education with Rs 9,000 crore.
