NTK chief warns Stalin of Jagan Reddy's fate over naming schemes after father

Naam Tamilar Katchi leader Seeman weighed in on the ongoing controversy regarding state welfare schemes named after late DMK leader M. Karunanidhi. Seeman warned that following the transfer of power in Tamil Nadu to a ‘Tamizhan’, the ruling party of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam will face the same fate as Jaganmohan Reddy of Telangana. Seeman’s comments came at a time when Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and AIADMK Edappadi K Palaniswami were engaged in a verbal spat over ‘Kalaignar’ schemes. But do it using your money or your father’s money,” he said, adding, “Who are you to name these projects after your father using my father and mother’s money?” Seeman then criticised the DMK for spending Rs 250 crore of public money on the Kalaignar Memorial in Chennai.
