Retired policeman murder in Tirunelveli: Accused will be brought to justice, says CM Stalin in T.N. Assembly

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Wednesday said those responsible for the murder of Zakhir Hussain Bijili, a retired police sub-inspector in Tirunelveli, would be brought to justice. Anyone involved in criminal activities cannot escape the clutches of law,” said the Chief Minister responding to a special calling attention motion moved by the Leader of Opposition Edappadi K. Palaniswami and other members of the House. He said the police had registered a case based on the complaint filed by the wife of Zakhir Hussain and is probing the incident. They are also investigating the video released by Zakhir Hussain explaining the death threats faced by him,” the Chief Minister said.
