Tourism Malaysia to Launch Largest-Ever Sales Mission in India

Kochi: Tourism Malaysia is set to embark on its largest-ever Sales Mission to India from February 3-7, 2025, covering Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Kochi. Leading the mission, Tourism Malaysia Director General Datuk Manoharan Periasamy highlighted India’s importance, aiming for 1.6 million Indian visitors by 2026 under the Visit Malaysia Year 2026 initiative. Tourism Malaysia Chennai Director Hishamuddin Mustafa emphasized Southern India’s key role, with 84 weekly flights and 12,395 seats per week. The Sales Mission aims to strengthen Malaysia’s presence and position it as a premier destination for MICE, weddings, and leisure travel.
