Warning: The following story contains spoilers from Season 3 of “Derry Girls.” After three long, agonizing years, “Derry Girls” has finally returned to American television. Television ‘Derry Girls’ creator on the hit show bringing Northern Ireland together Lisa McGee, creator of the Netflix comedy “Derry Girls,” drew from her experiences attending a Catholic school during the Troubles in the ‘90s.
