Construction labourer found dead, stray dog attack suspected

A 22-year-old construction labourer was killed after a pack of stray dogs allegedly attacked him in Gangammanagudi police station limits on Saturday night. A preliminary probe revealed that it was a stray dog attack, but the police are awaiting the post-mortem report to ascertain the cause of death. On August 28, 2024, a 76-year-old retired teacher was killed after nearly a dozen stray dogs attacked her during her morning walk around the same area in North Bengaluru. The police had said 10 to 12 stray dogs had pounced on her and bitten her multiple times all over her body.
