Ladakhis claim China has occupied Indian land, PM says otherwise, someone is lying: Rahul
The HinduHours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday landed in Ladakh, former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi took to twitter to target the Prime Minister by claiming that Ladakhis talk about China taking away their land but Mr. Modi argues to the contrary. In the three-minute long video “Ladakh Speaks”, the Congress leaders shared voices of people of Ladakh, who were talking about Chinese troops coming into Indian territory, building a metalled road in the areas between Finger 4 and Finger 8 and stationing themselves at Pangong Tso. The video ended with the national anthem and a note before that read, “Our land was taken away, 20 Indian soldiers martyred, Why is the Prime Minister silent?” The former Congress chief’s dig came on a day when Mr. Modi visited Nimu, a forward location in Leh, to interact with the personnel of the Army, Air Force and Indo-Tibetan Border Police. For nearly three weeks now since the Galwan Valley clashes, Mr. Gandhi has been attacking the Prime Minister, accusing him of ‘surrendering’ Indian land to China in the border face-off.
