French Cyclists On Way To Nepal Get Stranded In Bareilly Following Google Maps
ABP NewsTwo French tourists who were riding their way to Nepal on cycles following Google Maps were left stranded in a village in Uttar Pradesh after taking a wrong turn, said the police on Friday. French citizens Brian Jacques Gilbert and Sebastian Francois Gabriel had come to Delhi from France by flight on January 7, said Baheri Circle Officer Arun Kumar Singh. The app showed them a shortcut via Baheri in Bareilly, due to which they got lost and reached Churaili Dam," the CO said. "On receiving information that two French citizens, who were going to Nepal from Delhi by bicycle, had lost their way, the Baheri Police Station took immediate action and gave them the right direction and sent them safely to their destination," said the Bareilly Police in a post on X.
