Four held with stolen two-wheelers, mobiles in Ludhiana

The Dugri police have arrested four people for committing snatchings and thefts and recovered six stolen two-wheelers, 12 mobile phones and sharp-edged weapons from them. HT Image The accused were identified as Sunder Singh alias Vinay of Karnail Singh Nagar, Kuldeep Kumar of Moti Bagh Colony in Phullanwal, Arun Joshi alias Sonu of Hargobind Nagar and Harpreet Singh alias Sagar of Dhakka Colony. Addressing the media here Wednesday, additional deputy commissioner of police Jaskiranjit Singh Teja said Kuldeep Kumar was arrested on Wednesday while Harpreet, Arun Joshi and Sundar were arrested on Tuesday, Saturday and Friday, respectively. The ADCP said the police had traced around 18 incidents of thefts and snatchings committed by these accused in the city, mainly in Model Town, Dugri and Sarabha Nagar in past two-and-a-half months.
