AP government gives land rights to thousands in Gajuwaka

Visakhapatnam: The AP government has issued GO No. 44 giving rights to thousands of residents living on government lands for ages in Gajuwaka area of Visakhapatnam. Speaking to reporters at the YSRC party office in the port city on Wednesday, Gajuwaka MLA Tippala Nagi Reddy profusely thanked Chief Minister Y.S. The YSRC MLA recalled that TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, while being the chief minister in 1999, had formed a house committee to study the issue of people residing on government lands in Gajuwaka. YSRC Visakhapatnam district president Panchakarla Ramesh Babu said the GO will benefit 23,500 families of Gajuwaka.
