IMD Forecasts Fresh Spell Of Rain In Parts Of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry Tomorrow

The India Meteorological Department predicted that parts of Tamil Nadu will experience rainfall for the next five days due to cyclonic circulation on Saturday. The IMD said that light to moderate rainfall coupled with thunderstorms and lightning will prevail one or two places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal area. Light to Moderate westerlies prevails over the subdivision in the lower tropospheric levels.” Due to cyclonic circulation, IMD said that Light to moderate rain and heavy rainfall with thunderstorm & lightning is likely to occur at a few parts of Tamil Nadu. IMD said, “Light to moderate rain with thunderstorms & lightning is likely to occur at one or two places over Tamilnadu, Puducherry & Karaikal area. Heavy rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Mayiladuthurai, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Pudukottai districts of Tamilnadu, Puducherry, Karaikal area.” IMD said that the rainfall will continue till July 5.
