No guarantee of Siddaramaiah government's five guarantees in Karnataka?

The Karnataka government, led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, is facing mounting criticism over delays in implementing its five guarantee schemes. Sources told India Today that beneficiaries of the Gruha Lakshmi scheme, however, have not received their promised monthly Rs 2,000 for the past three months. GRUHA LAKSHMI SCHEME DEFICIT There are about 1.5 crore women Gruha Lakshmi beneficiaries in the state, with an estimated monthly expense of Rs 2,500 crore on the scheme payoffs. With the payments halted for three months, data revealed that as of January 31, 2025, Rs 7,517 crore were pending as Gruha Lakshmi payments.
