IIT Madras XTIC launches National partnership to boost XR research, innovation

The eXperiential Technology Innovation Centre at IIT Madras is gearing up to launch the XTIC-APP, a pivotal initiative designed to bolster India’s growing presence in eXtended Reality development and research. This new partnership program underscores IIT Madras’ commitment to establishing a robust pipeline of skilled XR developers and designers in India, positioning the country as a global leader in this emerging field. With a state-of-the-art Haptics Lab and a dedicated Institute of Eminence Centre focused on VR and Haptics, IIT Madras is uniquely positioned to lead the way in XR innovation and applied research.
