Telangana High Court Bench Strength Increases As CJI Approves Long Pending Proposal

In February 2019, the High Court had sent the proposal, which had been endorsed by the Chief Minister and the then Governor of Telangana, to the Union Minister of Law and Justice. On 27th May, 2021, the CJI took up the matter with the Law Minister in writing, and stated that the proposal for hike in the sanctioned Bench Strength had been pending since February 2019.
