Two sessions: Suggestions and proposals for high-quality development
Editor's note: The annual sessions of the National People's Congress and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, also known as the two sessions, are underway in Beijing. Legislators and political advisors have offered suggestions and brought forth several proposals for the high-quality development of China's economy. Gong Mingzhu, director of Inner Mongolia Development and Reform Commission and also an NPC deputy, said that high-quality development can further improve the scale of China's economic aggregate and the quality and efficiency of development. She suggested giving priority to ecological and green development, properly balance investment with the environment and resources, extend industrial chains to the middle and lower reaches and value chains to the middle and high levels, and continue to support high-quality economic and social development.
