A.R. Rahman hospitalised due to chest pain from dehydration; discharged after routine checkup

Oscar-winning music composer A.R. Mr. Rahman was later discharged following a routine checkup, according to the hospital’s statement shared by his son A.R. Mr. Ameen also thanked people for their wishes and said that Mr. Rahman was hospitalised due to dehydration and that he was doing well after routine tests. Post her recovery, Ms. Saira acknowledged the unwavering support of her close friends, including sound designer Resul Pookutty and his wife Shadia, as well as her ex-husband Mr. Rahman. Mr. Rahman and Ms. Saira announced their separation in November 2024, ending their 29-year marriage, due to “significant emotional strain” in their marriage.
