Fraud fugitive on most wanted list arrested

BEIJING - A fugitive on a list of China's 10 most-wanted telecom- and Internet-fraud suspects has been seized by police, the Ministry of Public Security said on Wednesday. Zhao Jianguo, 35, is accused of conspiring with others and cheating 81.72 million yuan out of a construction company based in the city of Dalian, Northeast China's Liaoning province on March 4, the ministry said in a statement. The following day, Dalian police froze most of the money and seized three suspects, but Zhao had fled. Police found traces left by Zhao and arrested him on Tuesday in east China's Zhejiang Province.
