As per Article 2.12 of the ICC Code of Conduct "Any form of inappropriate physical contact is prohibited in cricket. Ideally looking at previous instances, Kohli might walk away with one demerit point under Level 1 offence and a fine but it all depends on the umpires and the match referee Andy Pycroft.
