'Bangladesh Runs Risk Of Becoming Pakistan': Sheikh Hasina's Son's Warning Amid Turmoil

The son of Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday said that the country runs the risk of becoming like Pakistan one again and added that he would continue to fight for democracy. We will continue to fight for democracy in Bangladesh,” US-based Sajeeb Wazed Joy said in a post on X. Wazeb Joy, who is also an information and communications technology advisor to Hasina, said that though the government removed the quota and accepted the demands of the students, the protestors were not satisfied. He further said that the law enforcement agencies should not allow an unelected government to come to power warning that the country would become like Pakistan if that happens. The post comes hours ahead of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's resignation and the army taking over the control over the country.
