However, speaking to Radio Times, Poulter explained that leaving social media “was a sum of things” rather than any negative comments about the Charlie Brooker-penned film. “From a creative perspective, all the conversations that I’ve been privy to on social media have been really, really positive.” He added: “It was a sum of things, informed by lots of different aspects of my experience with social media. So I just thought the best thing to do was take a step back.” Bandersnatch caused a stir online following its release, thanks primarily to the numerous endings the film has.
