With 3D high-definition vision system and a patent technology to provide surgeons with natural dexterity and a greater range of motion than the human hand, the first robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery system approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration made its China debut at the ongoing China International Import Expo. This latest da Vinci surgery robot is equipped with a system with 10 times magnification that delivers surgeons an immersive surgical experience, surpassing all other available surgical methods so far, according to the exhibitor Fosun Health. Intuitive Surgical - Fosun Medical Technology Co Ltd established in 2017 is an alliance between Fosun and Intuitive Surgical, the US-based developer of da Vinci surgical robot. "These innovations enable surgeons to access even narrower workspaces than before, while maintaining high-quality vision, precision, and control when performing minimally invasive surgery with da Vinci systems," he said.
