Punjab CM announces drive to fill over 26,000 vacancies in govt departments
India TodayThe Punjab government on Thursday announced plans to fill up 26,454 vacancies in various government departments. Announcing the recruitment drive, Punjab Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann, said the vacancies are in 25 different departments. Mann also reiterated his government’s commitment to give jobs to the eligible candidates "on the basis of their educational qualifications strictly according to their merit." Bhagwant Mann also referred to several pro-people initiatives likely to be taken by his government which would be announced in the Annual General Budget 2022-23 during the budget session in the Vidhan Sabha.
