Government will promote natural farming in a big way, says Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said the State government is promoting natural farming on a large scale. The government aims at encouraging 40 lakh farmers to take to natural farming by 2028-29, thereby ensuring that 50 lakh acres are cultivated using natural methods,” Mr. Naidu told the representatives from Pegasus Capital Advisors and Producers Trust, who met him on Wednesday. Mr. Naidu said the government was making efforts in that direction and explaining the benefits of natural farming to the farmers through the Farmer Empowerment Organization. During his recent visit to Davos, Mr. Naidu explained the government’s plans to several organisations and invited them to collaborate with Andhra Pradesh in natural farming.
