Xintiandi host world-class artists at Art to Gather festival
China DailyLive performances take place at Xintiandi properties in four different cities, including Shanghai, Wuhan in Hubei province, Foshan in Guangdong province and Chongqing, for the first installment of the Art To Gather festival from Oct 18 to Nov 3. The French jazz comedy Trout and Mozart's celebrated comic opera The Marriage of Figaro, will also be featured at the festival, with audiovisual performances by French artists Franck Vigroux and Antoine Schmitt, offering beautiful tributes on the 60th anniversary of China-France diplomatic relations. Milk, a Japanese Duo who won the BBC Awards for World Music, will bring The Dreams of Butterfly, the shadow play Alice's Wonderland of Light and Shadow, and the Russian clown show Jekyll on Ice, transforming Xintiandi into a gathering place for friends from all over the world. Allan B Zhang, CEO of Shui On Xintiandi said, "Xintiandi has always been committed to exploring innovative ways to harmoniously integrate art with everyday life.
